Title GO GREEN - actually get healthy

Content We're not really going green are we, unless what we're doing is a body fit. That seems fairly obvious but it may be surprising to to know that it's often not actually achieved. If the template for 'green' isn't our complete and perfect pre-established DNA blueprint, then what's the point? It's true, going green does make the economy more sustainable, but if it doesn't also meet the criteria of a health body, going green defaults to compromised solutions which cannot withstand global crisis. A green body is the most difficult and the most exacting bill to fill because it has mental and emotional as well as physical implications.

Squeezing mental performance out of sitting for longer and longer hours has not accomplished the shift. Only the correct balance of sitting, standing, and walking activities that promote creative thinking throughout the workday can do that. Master-slave-like professional relationships within the corporate hierarchy has not done it. Only mutual trust-based equanimity encourages the free expression that manifests profit-making innovation. Corrupting our food supply with genetic manipulation, irradiation and chemical additives for the sake of extending shelf life and crop yields has not done it. Only providing the human body with the nutrients it needs to rebuild and renew itself sustainably can empower the "green" paradigm.

Health is not necessarily the outcome of wealth, although we cannot have health as a species without sharing the resources of the planet. Fortitude in successfully directing wealth towards health with sufficient speed to match our technological world requires deliberate action - which in turn requires an integration of our intellectual focus (mental acuity for adaptation), our emotional motivation (for meaningful relationship), and our physical vitality (for purposeful work). We need to understand our mind as well as our body.

Fast integration on a daily basis gives willpower unparalleled stability. In no way can we bypass this process and achieve environmental or social well-being (as human history has unfortunately proven ad nauseam).
