What does a Body'Fit pHx warmup contribute to injury prevention? Inadequate training is most often due to time/ energy constraints or lack of expertise. Structural defects require accurate assessment by a physio, chiro, or sports trainer to determine the best treatment for restoring anatomical musculo skeletal balance. Body rolling, bone and intensive deep tissue bodywork helps release joints and tendons and speed injury recovery. In addition, core stability training must be accompanied by muscle balance. And finally weaknesses in the body are best viewed as opportunities with appropriate protocol. To explain how Body'Fit pHx™ has scientifically perfected movement technology that gives unique injury protection it's necessary to show how it provides a new kinaesthetic, chemical and physiological balance in the body. The 7-14 minute Body'Fit pH Fitness™ exercise routine is a total body aerobic cardio warm-up cool down workout that dynamically stretches and balances V02max in both large and small muscles with revolutionary pHx DynaStretch techniques. There are two distinct groups of muscles that make two types of body movements. The large muscles, the muscles of strength, reach for things, the little muscles repel things. A balanced combination of these two muscle groups gives flexibility and elasticity. The dictionary defines elasticity as the ability of a muscle to stretch and quickly recover its shape and size. If one group of muscles dominates another, the body is weak and inelastic. Elasticity is the midpoint between a body that is musclebound, and one that has atrophied due to insufficient exercise. The Transverse Abdominal (TVA) is a very important stabilizer of the low-back. It is the deepest of the abdominal muscles and the only one that runs horizontal. It activates prior to the muscles of the hips and thorax. When contracted it flattens the abdominal wall and compresses the viscera. The TVA is required for all integrated movements. If the TVA is weak it will allow bulging of the anterior abdominal wall increasing lordosis in the low-back and will also create a lateral bulge in (forward bending) or extension (back bending). The Body'Fit pH Fitness series engages the TVA isometrically n with specific foot position and body posture, while exercising the body in a way that balances oxygen levels in all the organs, glands and tissues under conditions of homeostatic balance. And since it's easy to do pHx even on days you can't manage anything else, Body'Fit pH Fitness exercise gives much needed support for the release and re-alignment of the skeletal system. It includes all the movements necessary for a complete kinaesthetic expression of our body with the most economy of movement. It's also designed to increase kinaesthetic sensibility of the relation of all our bones and muscles so that we are aware of the movement itself, rather than simply the outcome of the movement. This is essential, and often overlooked simply because a fast effective method has been largely unavailable till now. Usually regardless of how diligently an athlete may warm-up and cool-down, a muscle pull can happen due to overuse, fatigue, or taking a fall. Body'Fit pHx provides a most useful adjunct to athletic training as a fast means to balance all muscles in a just few minutes before and after training, as well as storing up reserves of oxygen and electrolytes for faster recovery and conditioning. It's stress-free 100% aerobic cardio speeds up recovery from exhaustion and fatigue so common to overreaching. The faster and harder you work the body with Body'Fit pHx, the faster it gives all tissues, both deep and more superficial, the physiological resources to reach homeostatic Peak Metabolic Potential PMP™ very fast. Performance of even the short 7-minute version of Body'Fit pHx wakes up the entire nervous system honing the kinesthetic awareness, mental alertness, and physical coordination to take a fall without injury. And last but not least, balancing body pH at Peak Metabolic Potential prior to and immediately after physical training and sports competition is a key difference between athletes that make it to the finish with power to spare, and those plagued by injury and the plight of overtraining syndrome due to sympathetic or parasympathetic dominance. Whether done as a warm-up, cool down or workout it increases flexibility and elasticity by balancing VO2max in all the muscles of the body. Returning body pH chemistry to normal alkalinity immediately pre and post sports workouts while heightening electrolyte distribution gives revolutionary resilience to overtraining, muscle spasms, and joint injury while improving conditioning sustainability, recovery time, and sports performance, view... "Uniquely, as the most complete expression of the human organism with the most economical pattern of movement and breathing, pHx has the capacity to train mental awareness as well as physical strength giving injury prevention an extra edge." Until the emergence of Body'Fit pH Fitness exercise it wasn't understood why small muscles, so critical to sports dexterity, generally can't achieve V02max even when heart rate is at maximum levels during training. To warm up both large and small muscles in equal balance, it's necessary to get oxygen into the heart, brain, and deep organs in the proper sequence and with the most economical movement, otherwise tissues throughout the body start to compete with each other for the blood supply - and that means the small muscles in the wrists don't achieve V02max. The reason the heart muscle also needs to be warmed up prior to beginning your treadmill or running warm-up is because the heart itself usually doesn't get much of a circulatory increase when it starts pumping more blood (only a .125 percent increase relative to skeletal muscle at training levels). Body'Fit pHx is designed to significantly improve on this ratio (and heart health) in as little as 5 minutes by opening up deep systemic arteries that usually get shut down during exercise (and most aerobic warm-ups). Remember just because the core temperature rises during a warm-up as circulation speeds up, doesn't mean that the blood vessels deep in the body have expanded - it means that heat normally dissipated throughout all the tissues is now building up because deep body circulation has shut down as most blood (up to 90%) has shifted to the muscles. Techniques to maintain a pelvic tilt are incorporated while building core strength necessary for back injury prevention. One of the first benefits participants observe is fast back pain relief from increase in muscle strength in the abdominal area. They also attest to the effectiveness of the lower back stretches which balances core musculature... try it. *Lactic acid is what the body naturally produces in the process of muscle contraction for conditioning. Acidification necessary for muscle adaptation is also one of the greatest barriers to peak sports performance due to limitation of calcium binding capacity of muscle when the compensatory mechanisms fail. Although not responsible for muscle soreness, excess lactic acid not utilized by the body as fuel does play a major role in muscle fatigue, and will affect athletic performance physiologically, psychologically, endocrinologically, and immunologically. Body'Fit pH Fitness helps prevent sports injury with improvement in the rate at which lactic acid is utilized by the muscles, raising the V02max threshold at which lactic acid appears, the workout intensity at which compensatory mechanisms fail during interval and strength training, and the speed of exercise recovery. |
