How can we raise the bar on endurance training? Typically cardio workouts including interval training take the most
inefficient route to cardiovascular conditioning:
- Circulation
to the viscera is virtually cut off as the large long muscles hog the blood supply.
- Heart muscle tissue gets a fraction of one percent, i.e. a mere .125% increase in circulation relative to an up to 90% increase in skeletal muscle.
- A drop in body pH, and an imbalance in the exchange of 02 and C02 must occur before heart rate reaches training levels, whether doing conventional or interval training.
Competition rather than cooperation reigns between large vs. small
muscles, and skeletal muscles vs. deep organs. It's the way cardio
has always been done, and it spiked our pulse and temperature, albeit
inefficiently with a lot of huffing and puffing. The most recent trend is to try to recover from the stress of sustained endurance training by speeding up and slowing down the heart every couple of mintues with interval training. It's better than nothing, especially compared to the rigors of sports competition.
What if we engineered
cooperation between all the different tissues instead, so they didn't have to
compete for oxygen? Would such a warm-up prove superior regarding
training efficacy? It certainly would entail some out-of-the-box
exercise design, for sure. Nonetheless one might expect the pay-off
to be worthwhile, especially since the body's response
to aerobic cardio under conditions of pH balance can improve overall conditioning dramatically. Remember, even though slowing down every couple of minutes makes cardio more aerobic, body pH does not recover due to the shut down of circulation in the deep organs.
Body'Fit pH Fitness™ exercise warm-up cool down workout (short form... pHx™) has risen to the
challenge by providing more efficient paradigm cardiovascular conditioning.
- Body'FIt pHx™ balances circulation between large and small muscles, between heart
tissue and muscle tissue, and between muscles and visceral organs. And it does so without hyperventilation at any speed, duration or intensity.
- It's now possible to sustain training metabolism at its peak over extended periods without overheating stress, adrenaline fatigue or post workout soreness and stiffness.
- No oxygen debt is ever accumulated and no drop in body pH is observed with the pHx warm-up cool down, it raises the anearobic threshold of interval training for longer interval spurts and shorter slow down recovery.
First off, the 24 exercises
in the pHx series initiate training heart rate with venous return rather
than adrenaline. This immediately minimizes deep vessel constriction and maximizes
circulation to the heart, brain, and deep organs; no recovery period is required. In fact when the body recovers this fast at Peak Metabolic Potential, homeostasis is never disrupted even at maximum heart rate during performance of the pHx routine.
The unique sequence proceeds by
stimulating neural and endocrine plexus in a specific order which helps further open up deep organ blood
supply. This same order of doing the specialized exercises conditions muscles, proximal to distal, large and small, to raise V02max equally throughout the body. And when the organs don't need to compete for oxygen with the muscles, all tissues in the body become more metabolically active and recovery is very efficient,
and very fast.
Plus opening up deep body vessels makes it easier for the heart to pump
blood, renders hyperventilation unnecessary, and dehydration is no longer a
problem. Plus a more equitable distribution of oxygen and electrolytes
to all tissues with a cooperative model reduces energy
expenditure. It also means that when body pH chemistry returns to
normal fast for more efficient use of oxygen. Activating more cells in
more tissues increases metabolic efficiency much more than simply
exercising large long muscles more. And it even raises the anaerobic threshold of any workout
In
a competition between muscles and organs, the muscles always win... at the expense of the organs.
Perhaps best of all, engineering a new fitness paradigm makes conditioning
the vascular networks in the deep tissues of the body, in the viscera,
glands, and nerves, not just the muscles, a reality that for the first time can be accomplished in minutes - raising
metabolic rate in all the cells, and dramatically improving overall health which ultimately gets us More Out of
Exercise™.
